APPRECIATE WHAT WE HAVE

By: Ani Yusup

Helen Kehler … never heard that name?
A woman who was born blind and deaf, but such conditions do not make her a broken spirit.
Even make her a legendary.

She was able to provide motivation and spirit to live for others with disabilities.
Although difficult to do, live life like a normal human being so she would expect.

Helen Kehler:

"It would be a blessing if each person
could be blind and deaf for a few days
during his grown-up live. It would make
them see and appreciate their ability to
     experience the joy of sound".

Now, let us imagine as the blind deaf for two days.
Close your eyes … closed ears … for 2 days, do not look … do not hear.
Two days cannot see the beautiful world … cannot see the bright sun …
cannot hear the music or watch TV

How? Two days of heavy enough? How about 2 hours?
We often forget to give thanks for all that we have had.
We often forget to appreciate what we already have.
We often just complain and complain just with all the unfortunately things that happen to us.

All we have probably just is a luxury for some people they never enjoy.
For people who do not have leg, he is a luxury for walking.
One more thing that ever Helen Kehler said that if only she was allowed to see one day only, then she is sure will be able to do many things.

So let us appreciate what we already have, and things that already exist within us, so we can see life better.

To become a better human being, positive thinking, rarely complained and seldom feel hard.
